Simmons-Boardman Publishing Corp. COVID-19 Policy
Simmons-Boardman Publishing Corp. is dedicated to bringing together attendees in a safe environment. For all events, our team regularly reviews local and federal COVID-19 guidelines pertaining to health and safety, working closely with our venues to assure adherence and follow best practices.
We will continue to update our policies as needed. Registrants will also receive updates via email as and when changes occur.
Every attendee is expected to comply with our health and safety requirements. By attending one of our events, you accept the below policies, including any amendments that may be required due to changing CDC, WHO, and/or local guidelines.
Personal Preferences
Simmons-Boardman Publishing is eager to bring attendees back together to network and expand knowledge. We also acknowledge that each person will have their own boundaries and preferences. We ask everyone to be respectful of their fellow participants regarding face coverings, distancing, handshakes, etc.
Agreement
Please review travel advisories for the event location and your transportation method to that location.
Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any gathering. By completing your registration and attending one of our events, you acknowledge this risk and accept all terms of the Simmons-Boardman Publishing Corp. COVID-19 policy.
If, at the time of the event, you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, do not attend. Notify Simmons-Boardman Publishing at conferences@sbpub.com to arrange a refund of event fees or to submit a substitute registration. Symptoms of COVID-19 include, but are not limited to:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea
By attending, you also confirm that you have not been in contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 without completing a 5-day quarantine as recommended by the CDC and that you are not under any self-quarantine orders.
If at any point during the event you are feeling unwell or discover that you have been in close contact with a COVID-19 positive person, please advise event staff immediately and leave the event space. Event staff can be reached at the registration desk or via conferences@sbpub.com.
